Work With Us
We are a small but growing team, and we are always open to applications from professional writers who are interested in joining us as Workshop Leaders.
Creative Write-it was established in 2011 and offers creative writing workshops primarily to children aged 6-12. We also offer some programs for children aged 3-5, teens aged 13-18, and adults.
Our courses run for six days a week during school terms, and for one week each school holidays, at various locations across Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Our team is passionate, dedicated, and committed to providing an excellent service to students, parents, and schools across Melbourne.
As we are a growing business, vacancies will arise at various times throughout the year. Applications are welcome from writers who have had at least one piece of professionally published work, and who have experience working with and/or teaching children.
We would love to hear from you if you:
Workshop Leaders must be comfortable working with children one-on-one, in groups of up to 5, and/or groups of up to 12. You will also be expected to tailor your workshops according to the needs of your students, within our guidelines.

Workshops are usually held on weeknights between 4 - 6.30pm, and on Saturdays between 9.30am - 6.30pm.
